Lincoln Schatz Journal: November 2022

A snow fence remains well into summer along the shores of Lake Michigan. The wooden and wire barrier placed to keep the snow at bay as it blows off the lake. Placed also to keep people from walking on grasses planted purposely to try and protect the beach. We’ve seen dramatic changes to the lakefront in the last few years. Beaches disappearing entirely, either blown away or subsumed by water.  Daily entries from Lincoln Schatz‘s journal, November 2022. Featuring personal writing on new projects, photography, client proposals, and on-site installs. Behind the scenes action shots, in the field gear reviews and information. As well as generative video art, research, project development, studio experiments and deep dives into the art and literature that is currently of interest to the studio.

Here also, you can find greater insight into ongoing, new and finished projects. These include ongoing nature photography featuring photos of Lake Michigan for the Lake Series and The Shore. The Redwood Forests of Oregon and the Lost Coast region of Northern California, along with the mountain ranges and forests of Colorado and Utah.
