Sylvia Plath, The Lake
I have thought about this line from Plath in relationship to the lake over the last few weeks, “I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery-air, mountains, trees, people. I thought, ‘This is what it is to be happy.'” How the lake can, on certain days at certain times, give me so generously that “onrush of scenery” described by her so perfectly above. This limited edition photograph is part of the Lake Series. This is November 9th, 2017.
