Steam Rises off Lake Michigan

Steam rises off of a rapidly freezing Lake Michigan in the midst of one of our coldest periods back at the end of January 2019 when a Polar Vortex struck Chicago. Visiting the lake during these winter days is difficult, however even in frigid temperatures, the reward of this landscape will always bring me back to the lake again and again.
