An RV chicken coop sits in a field outside the boundaries of Vernal, Utah. A ramp lets the chickens easily move in and out. Their eggs laid in boxes that line the interior of the RV.

This photo is part of my new series of work, America: Vernal, Utah landscapes, a new collection of limited edition photographs. I began traveling across the United States in the summer of 2020. Choosing to focus my camera on the relationship between the land and the people who live and work on it. This first group of photographs explore ranching life in Vernal, Utah. A small town a few hours to the east of Salt Lake City.
