A painterly lake photo. Soft clouds warmed by the winter sun on January 6th, 2021. This week I really wanted to feature a handful of photographs that highlight the relationship between the sky, sun, clouds and the waters of the lake. The way Lake Michigan takes and reflects the sky back onto itself. The colors and forms overhead often mirrored perfectly when the lake waters are absolutely still.
