Expansive Farmlands

Moving across expansive farmlands, train tracks stretch alongside quiet highways. The railroad lines run parallel to the asphalt. Both trains and semi-trucks will haul the harvest in fall to processing facilities. This photograph is part of the Great Plains edition, a series of photographs that feature the relationship between humans and the landscapes they have shaped in middle America.
