Dappled Sunlight on the Lake

“The true content of a photograph is invisible, for it derives from a play, not with form, but with time.” – John Berger in Understanding a Photograph. I have been thinking a lot recently about time and how it relates to the Lake Series through the writing of Berger among others. What happens if the time of a photograph extends, not in fractions of a second, but instead over the course of eight years?
See all of the photographs from the last five years of the Lake Series here or follow along as I explore this and other projects on my instagram account.
