Sublime Summer Day

A sublime summer day from The Shore series, my ongoing edition of photographs exploring the interaction of land and water along the edges of Lake Michigan. This is the type of day we wait for when winter is at it’s harshest. A day I think of especially when I am out on the lake early on a cold January morning. Knowing the reward, a day like this one, that will come with summer.
