The cold season has truly settled in and the bike path and the retaining walls have become far more treacherous to traverse with slippery winter ice on the lakefront bike path. The time I spend on the lake as a result has become slower and more attentive to my footing.
I ride my bike with studded tires and cleats on my boots in order to help with these conditions. On this particular day, it was in my best interest to walk this section of the lakefront with my bike beside me. Working my way towards where I would capture the morning sunrise.
