In 1964, Richard Avedon and James Baldwin published “Nothing Personal,” their collaborative exploration of American identity. A facsimile edition has been released by Taschen, along with a set of previously unpublished photographs, and an introduction by Hilton Als. An exhibit of material from the book is on view at Pace Gallery through January 13th, 2018.
