This is Heat of Its Being and Its Will to Be (4). I find myself coming back to trees again and again with new ideas that extend and connect, like branches, to prior editions. They occupy many realms in my mind. From the physical to the metaphorical. From the scientific to the mystical. Each tree is an individual expression of yearning, survival and mortality. I am taken by how they reflect, in their physical form, the environment they have grown in. Standing in testimony to the history of a specific place and time.
