Stillness on the Lake

There is a stillness to the lake on this morning. Calm and restrained. The fog deadening the sound of the nearby city. Standing on the lake wall, the serrated steel edge disappears into the distance. Ladders provide a visual rhythm, punctuating at even intervals.
