The sun is nowhere to be seen here on December 17th, 2020 as I stand on the edge of Lake Michigan to take this somber lake photo. On this winter day, with low light, you get this incredible richness in color and tone that is shared between the clouds and the water and gives the entire landscape an otherworldly quality.
