Rushing River Beehive Basin

Rushing River Beehive Basin

Fallen tree trunks span a river rushing rapidly over large boulders in Beehive Basin, Montana. The bark slippery as the waters splash and tumble underneath. Fast moving, wading into the water here is a tricky thing to pull off. Best to move carefully, with steady footing and the aid of walking sticks, rope, branches or anything that can help offset the pushing currents as they rush down the mountain side. Rivers can often deceive, hiding their power until you are already well into the currents.
