The final oil stick on canvas work installed! This is Skinny Dip, hung at the wonderful ikram here in Chicago a few years ago. This large oil stick on canvas work was lit so beautifully by the natural light that was present on this morning. The light really allows for the dimensionality and structure of the drawing to come forward, highlighting the gestures on the surface. It’s spaces like ikram that really excite me, an adventurous nature that is utterly inspiring.
