Heavy moss & lichen drape from every inch of these trees in the Redwood Forest. Taken later in the day this glade was beautifully lit. The bark of the tree and its branches are entirely covered by plant life. If you look closely, you can even see small ferns, beginning to take root. Almost as if frozen in movement, these trees twist, bend and contort in surprisingly gestural ways.
