Metallic Black Lake Michigan

March 31st, 2016 was a storm filled day where I arrived to a metallic black Lake Michigan. The clouds darkening the sky dramatically as dawn arrived. The water creating undulating patterns of light and shadow in this monochromatic black landscape. It is days like this that astonish me. That remind me of just how complex the lake can be. Expressing a range of characteristics and qualities that never cease to fascinate me.
