For the next week I’ll be featuring photographs of Lake Michigan from the Lake Series, focusing on this past month and highlighting the broad range of qualities and characteristics that the lake can possess this time of year. Here, on August 3rd, 2020, you can see rain falling far out over the water from heavy cloud cover that poured over the city and lake. Somehow, the sun has pushed through those clouds to create a razors edge of light along the horizon line.
