Smoke appears at the center of the horizon on this day, May 16th, 2016, from the Lincoln Schatz Lake Series Panoramas series. This remains an unexplained presence from that day, perhaps a fire on the Michigan shore, or somewhere more close by, in this newly finished diptych photograph from the collection.
