Joshua Tree Cactus

Cylindropuntia bigelovii, a variety of Cholla cactus fills sections of Joshua Tree National Park. Visually creating a striking landscape to explore. This particular cactus has a remarkable form, climbing into the sky on tall vertical stems. Flowers and fruit can be seen here.
