Ice Melts on Lake Michigan
The lake shifts in blues, coming to the steel faced walls, the seemingly impermeable man-made barrier keeping the lake at bay as the last ice melts on Lake Michigan. But of course, this winter has shown us time and time again, that this concrete impediment is often no match for the power the lake possesses. The last ice and snow of winter is rapidly disappearing from the lake’s edge in this photograph from The Shore series, taken on March 9th, 2021.
