Curiously Lit Clouds

Curiously lit clouds are forming in the skies overhead. Rippling like a quilt for as far as I can see. This is from June 19th, 2022. As much as the Lake Series is about the lake, it is also about the sky. And as I’ve continued to photograph the lake for over seven years, I am struck by how captivating the sky can be. Possessing the same complexity and subtlety as water. The lake has allowed me to see the world differently in remarkable ways.
