Bronze Lake Light
Bronze light illuminates air and water as the sun climbs in the late November sky over Lake Michigan. Fall and then winter change the quality and color of light that we see on the lake. Shifting into these metallic and hazy tones that often push at our understanding of what the lake looks like in our mind. Winds have been strong for over a month and so this peaceful morning with calm waters is definitely a welcome respite from storms. This is from November 30th.
