Most days when I’m photographing the lake in winter I have arrived on my bike. Slowly working my way towards the lake over ice covered ground. With conditions like the ones on this morning, you are guaranteed to have ice under foot all the way to the waters edge. It always makes setting up the tripod and camera a careful process. But I appreciate how it makes me slow down and really pay attention to my surroundings.
