Above the Valley Floor
We were now far above the valley floor from where we had begun that morning cloaked in fog and clouds. Blue skies greeted us as we hiked higher in altitude on this early spring day shown here in White River National Forest, Colorado (10).
It was astonishing to see this expansive view as we emerged out of the shadows of the forest. The overcast skies had broken open, and the sun was creating dappled light upon the White River National Forest. This photograph is a triptych panorama.
