Uinta Mountain Foothills, America: Vernal, Utah (3)

Outbuildings and the start of the Uinta Mountain foothills are reflected in a window that’s been installed inside a shipping container on a ranch outside Vernal, Utah. Used to store equipment and materials, the container has slowly begun to show rust through the red and white paint.
This photo is part of my new series of work, America: Vernal, Utah landscapes, a new collection of limited edition photographs. I began traveling across the United States in the summer of 2020. Choosing to focus my camera on the relationship between the land and the people who live and work on it. This first group of photographs explore ranching life in Vernal, Utah. A small town a few hours to the east of Salt Lake City.
