10 Stations compels public transit commuters to look up from their newspapers and see the flow of humanity around them, examining our corporal interaction in a transit environment. Over time 10 Stations will function as an observer of events, capturing video from its environment and displaying images of commuters on the platform walls, essentially creating a portrait of the ridership. 10 Stations consists video capture cameras and digital projectors located at ten separate train stations. Each day select digital video is stored on large computer hard drives. That video memory is shared between all ten interactive locations.
